Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee the safe and effective operation of a child care school in collaboration with the School Director. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school and will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The role emphasizes accountability, responsibility, creativity, and teamwork, with a focus on maintaining a positive image and profitability for the center.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director; in the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
