Job summary

KinderCare in Reston, VA, is seeking an assistant center director to support teaching staff, families, and center operations. You will collaborate with parents and staff to promote enrollment, accreditation, and quality care.

The role requires 2+ years of early childhood education experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to meet state guidelines. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of early childhood education experience.
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents in English.
