You will collaborate with the Director to manage staff, engage families, and strengthen community relationships.

The role emphasizes program development, safety, and a commitment to quality early childhood education in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
• Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements.

• Staff Management: Support the recruitment, training, development and supervision of staff
• Curriculum and Program Development: Assist in the implementation of our Wonder of Learning® program designed to spark curiosity, support individual growth and inspire a lifelong love of learning
• Family and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families
• Health and Safety: Conduct regular safety drills, maintain emergency preparedness and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment

The Goddard School located at: 15380 Wellington Center Blvd Macomb, MI 48044 is looking for a motivated, self-starter for an Assistant Director position at our School! The Assistant Director will assist in overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and care. This role involves supporting the Director in managing staff, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements and fostering positive relationships with families and the community.
