A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT DIETARY MANAGER

As an Assistant Dietary Manager, you play a vital role in our clinic. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You share in the overall responsibility for all operations of the Dietary Department. You work with residents and other team members to plan menus and food service programs. You also monitor the stock level of food, supplies, and equipment and order as needed.

The position will include a rotating every other weekend rotation/may include every weekend.

With a close eye for detail, you monitor for residents' condition changes, accidents and incidents. You take great care to report any of these. You live up to the trust of those in your care by following dietary procedures, related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing home operations. QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSISTANT DIETARY MANAGER

• Must have CDM credentials
• Possess knowledge, or present an ability to learn, dietary procedures, related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing home operation.
• A desire to work with seniors and mentally ill.
• Reliable transportation.
• Positive Attitude.
