Job summary

Apple Rehab Clipper is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager to lead and support dietary staff in a healthcare setting. The role blends culinary duties with supervisory responsibilities, with a schedule from 11AM to 7PM and 32 hours per week.

Ideal candidates have cooking experience and strong organizational and leadership abilities, with LTC experience preferred but not required. This role offers opportunities for growth within a patient‑centered team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary and food safety standards

• Support the Dietary Manager in maintaining compliance with long-term care regulations and quality standards

Assistant Dietary Manager

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Dietary Manager to join our team. This position offers a dynamic blend of culinary and leadership responsibilities, with a schedule primarily consisting of 11AM to 7PM shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary and food safety standards
• Assist with staff scheduling and daily departmental operations
• Manage purchasing and inventory control
• Provide supervision, guidance, and support to dietary staff
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Support the Dietary Manager in maintaining compliance with long-term care regulations and quality standards

Compensation & Hours:

• 32 hours per week
• $24.00-$25.00 per hour, based on Long-Term Care experience
