Aperion Care in De Motte, Indiana, is seeking an Assistant Dietary Manager in training to assist the Dietary Manager in managing and directing the Dietary Department. This involves ensuring quality nutrition services daily and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and be familiar with dietary practices. Responsibilities include inspecting food storage, processing diet changes, and upholding standards in the dietary service area. Previous experience in a dietary role within medical settings is preferred.
SUMMARY: The Assistant Dietary Manager in training is responsible for partnering with the Dietary Manager to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Dietary manager and or Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
