Job summary

Fashion Nova is seeking an Assistant Designer, Women’s to develop seasonal silhouettes under the Designer's supervision. You will create development tech packs, assist on new projects, and partner with the design team throughout the seasonal process.

The role requires a strong eye for color, fabric, and trims, proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM and Excel, and onsite work in Beverly Hills.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in women’s apparel design.
• Willing to take lead and contribute ideas.
• Strong understanding of apparel construction, fabric, color, trend and embellishment.
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM and Excel.
• Cad sketching and cad presentations skills.
• Organized with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create new development tech packs in PLM with attention to details.
• Assist in new projects, cad, tech packs revisions as directed by business.
• Partner with Designer through seasonal creation process and take ownership.
• Contribute ideas and inspirations to the business.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development & Production daily.
• Maintain high level of organization across tasks.
• Research trends and compile results for presentations.
• Work on color, fabric, and trim selection in AI/PS; recoloring and editing.
