Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an Assistant Designer for the New York Design Office to support design leaders in creating an assortment that aligns with brand positioning and target customers.

You’ll build and maintain tech packs, trim sheets and design packages, enter data into PLM, assist in meetings, and analyze market trends. This role is based on-site Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience with Ned Graphics or Kaledo is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, create and maintain tech packs, trim sheets and design packages.
• Assist in meetings and room setup, samples, reports and boards/line sheets.
• Gather and analyze market and trend research.
• Ensure understanding of the supported brand and monitor competition.
• Complete pre-packages as part of R&D; other tasks as assigned.
