Job summary

Kontoor Brands' Wrangler Outdoor team is seeking an Assistant Designer to support seasonal product across Wrangler Outdoor, Workwear, and FR Workwear, while remaining true to Wrangler's DNA.

You will assist with design development, CADs, color approvals, and presentations, collaborating with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A degree in Apparel or Fashion Design and proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, Art, Graphic Design or related field.
• Approximately 1 year of professional experience in apparel design preferred.
• Illustration and design skills with strong color sense required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required.
• Familiarity with V-Stitcher or other 3D apparel design software preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Design team in development and execution of seasonal product lines and projects (fabric, trims, artwork, color, style details).
• Support creation of design presentations, seasonal decks, and CAD sheets.
• Develop and maintain the Design Development Tracker and organize seasonal deliverables.
• Review and approve color lab dips, strike-offs, handlooms, and other development submissions with Designer.
• Create and maintain 3D CADs for seasonal line assortments.
• Produce plaids, simple repeats, and other print/pattern artwork.
• Support prototype and fit reviews: organize samples, document feedback, track follow-up actions.
• Take notes during proto reviews, fit sessions and milestones; communicate actions to partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep projects on schedule and aligned with design direction.
