Job summary

Delta Galil USA, Inc. seeks an Assistant Designer to support the design team through every stage of intimates, sleep, and shapewear development.

You will work on line sheets, coordinate samples, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive on-time product delivery. The role is in-office in Secaucus, NJ, with responsibilities including organizing samples, tracking proto samples, preparing for market week, and creating presentation boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field.
• Experience with apparel design processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Keep samples and closets organized.
• Track proto samples, lab dips, and strike offs.
• Help prepare for market week.
• Assist designer in requesting fabric, trims, and samples from vendors.
• Create presentation boards for meetings.
• Recolor CADs and prints for line sheets.
• Work on design detail sheets and put tech packs into PLM.
• Market research/shop at local stores.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year design experience in internships or corporate experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Strong written and verbal communicator
• Knowledge of garment construction
• Sense of ownership and accountability

This is an in-office role, with 5 days in our Secaucus, NJ office.

PAY RATE

$28-32 an hour
