Job summary

Floor & Decor in Fort Myers, FL seeks a Training Specialist to develop Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers enjoy a positive shopping experience through expert product knowledge and service.

You will lead certification courses, guide merchandising, assist customers at checkout, present how-to classes, and maintain accurate pricing and inventory in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process transactions at the POS and handle refunds/exchanges per guidelines.
• Present how-to classes to customers.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays and create price signs.
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Direct and assist with merchandising, pricing, and department organization.
• Ensure forklift certification and safety procedures are followed.
• Share inventory needs with management and ensure product placement accuracy.
