Job summary

Aspen Dental Group is seeking an Assistant Dental Office Manager (Operations Lead) in Michigan. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising non-clinical staff, coordinating front desk tasks, and ensuring excellent patient experiences.

You’ll train in an eight-week program and support scheduling, insurance verification, and daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort with data to improve clinic performance.

  • Under Manager direction, supervise non-clinical team and reinforce daily tasks.
  • Review data daily to evaluate impact on the practice and performance.
  • Oversee scheduling and confirming patient appointments and deposits.

When you join an Aspen Dental practice, you’ll participate in an eight-week training program to succeed in your role.* Provide superior patient service with compassion and care in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards* Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care* Consult with patients on treatment options provided by clinical team, verifying insurance payment and collection ensuring high quality of care* Under the direction of the Manager, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non-clinical team* Review data day to day to evaluate the impact on the practice* Oversee scheduling and confirming patient appointments* Verify insurance payment, collection, balance nightly deposits and credit card processing* Additional tasks assigned by the Manager**Preferred Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds* Demonstrate analytical thinking; place a premium on leveraging data* Organized and detail oriented*Aspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists.
