Aspen Dental is hiring an Assistant Dental Office Manager (Operations Lead) in Kentucky. You will oversee non-clinical operations, supervise staff, and ensure smooth daily workflow while delivering excellent patient service.

You’ll work with the clinical team to coordinate treatment options, verify insurance, and manage schedules and deposits. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and a collaborative, supportive culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide superior patient service with compassion and care in accordance with patient needs, policies, regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Consult with patients on treatment options and verify insurance payments to support high quality care.
• Under the Manager’s direction, supervise and reinforce daily tasks for non-clinical staff.
• Review daily data to evaluate impact on the practice.
• Oversee scheduling and confirm patient appointments.
• Verify insurance payments, collections, balance deposits and card processing.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

How You’ll Make a Difference

• Provide superior patient service with compassion and care in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards
• Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
• Consult with patients on treatment options provided by clinical team, verifying insurance payment and collection ensuring high quality of care
• Under the direction of the Manager, supervise and reinforce the daily tasks and priorities of the non‑clinical team
• Review data day to day to evaluate the impact on the practice
• Oversee scheduling and confirming patient appointments
• Verify insurance payment, collection, balance nightly deposits and credit card processing
• Additional tasks assigned by the Manager

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Demonstrate analytical thinking; place a premium on leveraging data
• Organized and detail oriented
