Job summary

Foley Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Dance Coach for the Winter 2026 season, starting October 26, 2026 and ending in late February. The role will involve working with other coaches to run aspects of the Dance Program under the Head Dance Coach and the district’s vision.

Ideal candidates have coaching experience and strong knowledge of fundamentals, with the ability to motivate and guide student-athletes in an educational setting, while building positive relationships with families and

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• High level of knowledge of fundamentals and technique.
• Ability to connect, motivate, support and direct student-athletes in an educationally-based atmosphere.
• Ability to form positive relationships with parents, athletes, officials, community, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running aspects of the Dance Program.
• Support and collaborate with Head Dance Coach.
• Guide student-athletes in educationally-based activities and performance.
• Coordinate with parents and administration as needed.

Job Description:Foley Public Schools has an opening for an Assistant Dance Coach starting in the Winter of 2026. This position would start on October 26th, 2026 and end in late February. This coach will work in conjunction with the other coaches on running aspects of the Dance Program while working under the guidelines of the Head Dance Coach and the vision of Foley Public Schools.
