American Senior Communities is seeking an Assistant Culinary Manager in Fort Wayne, IN. The role partners with the Culinary Manager to supervise kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality meals, proper safety practices, and excellent resident service.

Qualifications

Culinary and Nutrition Assistant Manager Opportunity at Coventry Meadows


Day Shift


The Assistant Culinary Manager works closely with the Culinary Manager to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, consistent presentation, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. This role combines hands-on culinary expertise with strong leadership to guide and inspire a talented kitchen team.

Skills Needed:



  • Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate others to follow proper safety, health, sanitation and food preparation with a focus on cooking, plating and service for our residents.

  • Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care and food service for our residents.

  • Experience: Proven experience in leadership, hiring, training, evaluating and scheduling kitchen staff.

  • Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.


Requirements:



  • Minimum one year of experience as a cook. Management experience preferred.
