Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Colorado bar license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel and legal representation to Montezuma County and its departments.
• Advise and represent the Department of Social Services in abuse/neglect investigations and child welfare matters.
• Represent the Department in hearings, trials, and appellate proceedings.
• Perform legal research and draft pleadings and briefs.
