Jefferson County seeks a passionate attorney to perform a variety of legal work for the Human Services team. This team provides legal representation and advice concerning child abuse and/or neglect investigations, dependency and neglect proceedings and appeals, juvenile delinquency matters, adult protection investigations and proceedings, mental health cases, drug and alcohol commitments, public assistance applications and appeals, liquor license violation prosecutions, civil collections, child support services, records requests and subpoenas.
The Assistant County Attorney will work independently in a technologically advanced, fast-paced, sophisticated, and collegial work environment in our office with county clientsand agencies, elected officials, and the public.
This full-time position operates on a standard work week (Monday-Friday). This position offers the opportunity for remote work on some days of the week.
The anticipated hiring range at Associate level is $130,000 - $140,000.
