Job summary

ADAMS AND ASSOCIATES INC is seeking a full-time Food Service Assistant at Keystone - Drums, PA. You will help prepare meals, support sanitation, and ensure quality service for students.

Supervisory duties include guiding Job Corps Work-Based Learning students and upholding Career Success Standards. Requires a High School Diploma and ability to obtain ServSafe credentials; hourly pay reflects a dining services environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced degrees not required; preferred.
• Must be able to obtain ServSafe credentials.
• Food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and presentation.
• Provide good customer service and engage students.
• Assist in kitchen clean-up and sanitation of food areas.
• Transport meals to serving line; stock counters.
• Maintain quality, accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
• Attend to attendance, productivity and reliability.
• Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to deadlines.
• Apply job knowledge to perform responsibilities.
• Mentor and model Career Success Standards.
• Provide supervision for student population; enforce behavior.
• Deliver quality services; meet student needs and improvements.
• Communicate ideas clearly; share information with team and DOL/Company.
• Identify problems, analyze causes and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with staff across departments for student services.
• Accept direction from leadership; cover other duties as needed.
