Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Assistant Cook to fuel bright futures in our child-centered classrooms. You’ll prepare nutritious, kid-friendly meals and snacks, support a warm dining experience, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Compliance with all state-specific preschool cook regulations.
• At least one year of experience in meal planning, preparation, and service, adhering to USDA guidelines.
• Preferred: Valid Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with minor meal preparation, organize food and supply storage, manage dishwashing, deliver meals to classrooms, and uphold kitchen organization and systems.
• Perform additional tasks as needed, such as laundry, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing toys.
• Note: This role involves physical lifting.
