Job summary

TireHub is seeking an Assistant Controller in Dunwoody, GA to partner with the Controller and lead a team of accounting professionals, overseeing close processes and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.

The role demands hands-on leadership, audit coordination with external auditors, and collaboration across Finance, Treasury, Tax, IT and Operations; CPA required; Epicor and Visual Lease experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license active required.
• 8–12 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Experience leading accounting teams and audits.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• ERP experience (Epicor preferred) and Visual Lease familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Directs and develops General Ledger and Accounts Payable teams.
• Leads monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Ensures accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Oversees external audits and liaison with auditors.
• Implements internal controls and mitigates risks.
• Collaborates with Treasury, FP&A, Tax and Operations.
• Drives process improvements in accounting operations.
