Job summary

Bull Moose Tube is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage day-to-day accounting for multiple manufacturing facilities and assist in treasury, FP&A, and data analytics. The role includes month-end close, journal entries, and GL review, with involvement in budgeting, audits, and internal controls.

The position requires a BS in Accounting-related field, 5+ years of experience in finance, and familiarity with GAAP. MBA/CPA is a plus; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient with PC and MS Office; ERP experience a plus.
• Ability to convey thoughts clearly in verbal and written form.
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close with journal entries and GL review.
• Support plant management with spending summaries and forecasts.
• Design and maintain internal controls; assist in annual budget and variance analysis.
• Coordinate data for annual financial audit and inventories.
• Assist Corporate Controller with journal entries, consolidations and cash flows.
• Support ASC 842 lease analysis and related quarterly entries.
• Assist with 5500s for 401k and 990 for self-funded health plan.
