Job summary

RK Industries is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls for RK Mission Critical and the Service business. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will lead month-end close activities, ensure accurate results across two ERP platforms, and strengthen processes as the company grows.

You will guide accounting personnel, including senior project and cost accountants, and collaborate with Corporate Accounting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including management or controllership.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with inventory, WIP, standard costing, revenue recognition, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and general ledger accuracy across two business units.
• Lead month-end close, review statements, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and improve processes with Corporate Accounting, Operations, and IT.
• Identify risks and drive timely resolution of complex accounting challenges.
