Job summary

On-Target Supplies & Logistics, Ltd. in Dallas, TX is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash management across multiple entities.

This role blends technical accounting leadership with operational finance partnership to ensure accurate reporting and scalable processes in a growing logistics platform. You will oversee the close process, assist with audits, and collaborate with executives to provide actionable insights,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and multi-entity reporting experience.
• Experience with close, audits, and financial reporting in dynamic environments.
• ERP experience in NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred; logistics/warehousing background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accuracy across multiple entities.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and journal entries.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and intercompany allocations.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and close timelines.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, AR, AP, and working capital trends.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance.
• Coach accounting staff and drive process improvements.
