Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an ambitious accounting professional to lead financial operations across two entities. This high-visibility role reports to the Group CFO and combines hands-on month-end close with strategic interaction with private equity sponsors and executive leadership.

The candidate will consolidate financial statements, manage treasury, and drive process improvements while balancing tactical tasks with high-level analysis in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA strongly preferred (or active candidate on track).
  • 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience with a blend of Public Accounting and Private Industry experience.
  • Hybrid schedule combining in-office work with remote flexibility.
  • Experience with PE-backed companies or government contracting is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP software, advanced Excel, and modern accounting tech stacks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions across both entities including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, and Payroll.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for timely, accurate execution.
  • Prepare and publish consolidated and entity-level financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage treasury and daily cash flow forecasting across both business units.
  • Analyze operating and financial results, track KPIs, and provide insights to the Group CFO.
  • Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for both companies.
  • Prepare periodic financial decks for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and Partners.
  • Evaluate current accounting systems and controls; implement scalable process improvements.
  • Maintain internal controls to protect assets and ensure compliance.
  • Serve as primary contact for external auditors, tax advisers, and regulatory agencies.

Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this individual will play a vital role in unifying, managing, and streamlining financial operations across both entities. The ideal candidate is an ambitious accounting professional in the early stage of their leadership career combining foundational training from public accounting with practical private industry experience.

This is a hands-on role requiring direct execution of month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls, paired with strategic exposure to private equity sponsors, board reporting, and executive leadership.
