Job summary

Brink Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to lead field activities at projects in Omaha and Lincoln, NE. You will support the Construction Manager, coordinate subcontractors, manage safety, and ensure work aligns with plans, schedule, and budget.

You will assist with look-ahead planning, documentation, and progress tracking while maintaining quality and compliance across the project team.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience managing high voltage transmission or substation projects.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Examiners Certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager in daily jobsite operations and planning.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crews, and equipment to align with schedules.
• Promote and enforce jobsite safety standards and quality control.
• Maintain daily reports on progress, weather, and crew sizes.
• Support look-ahead planning and resolve field conflicts promptly.
• Assist with procurement, material deliveries, and staging.
• Track field-related costs and monitor productivity against budget.
• Communicate with engineers, project teams, and subcontractors daily.
• Support project closeout activities including inspections and punch lists.
