Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations including marketing, leasing, and resident relations at our Texas property.

You will assist with team leadership, ensure financial procedures are followed, and contribute to delivering outstanding resident experiences. A valid driver’s license and customer‑focused approach are required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience managing people in property management or another customer‑service oriented environment.
• Preference given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree.
• Possession of a valid, state‑issued driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the community efficiently and profitably, consistent with the company’s goals.
• Coach, develop, and manage members of the property team while promoting Balfour Beatty’s values and safety across all operations.
• Monitor and audit accounting procedures for rent collection and other financial tasks; generate monthly closing reports.
• Oversee the leasing and move‑in/move‑out processes.
• Deliver the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.
• Attend and assist with resident events as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

Who We're Looking For

• Qualified candidates will have three (3) or more years of experience managing people in property management or another customer service-oriented environment.
