Job Overview

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community. Responsibilities include completing accounting and reporting tasks, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent, and managing the property management system to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in leasing and marketing efforts to meet revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Handle daily financial transactions, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend improvements.
  • Enforce lease agreements, conduct inspections, and manage collections and evictions.
  • Manage client/owner relations and promote resident satisfaction.
  • Maintain property safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
  • Act as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager.
  • Develop marketing strategies to sustain occupancy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Schedule

40 hours/week with site hours of Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm. Flexibility to work weekends when scheduled is required.

Minimum Requirements
  • Availability to work weekends as scheduled.
  • Ability to work in an office and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in property management, sales, marketing, or customer service preferred.
  • Strong communication and computer skills, proficient in property management software (e.g., Entrata, Yardi, One Site).
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds independently, 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and reaching; occasional sitting and keyboard use.
  • Routine local travel required.
