JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community by handling accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, completing bank deposits, and using property management software to record and report financial activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Complete daily financial transactions including rent collection, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite) accurately and ensure data integrity.
  3. Review resident accounts for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
  4. Review and process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, and manage communication with vendors and the accounting team.
  5. Follow established procedures for evictions, including notices, court proceedings, and legal compliance.
  6. Handle resident move-outs, applying deposits and fees according to lease terms and legal requirements.
  7. Respond promptly to resident inquiries and complaints to promote satisfaction and retention.
  8. Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, coordinating maintenance and daily operations.
  9. Assist in managing relationships with property owners, providing updates, and responding to their requests.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Stand, walk, sit, and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Travel as needed for property support or training.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
