Role Overview
The Assistant Community Manager oversees, under the supervision of the Community Manager, the daily operations and financial functions of the housing community. This role involves managing rent collection, staff supervision, leasing, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining financial health, resident satisfaction, and property standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Financial Management: Post payments, reconcile accounts, follow up on bad debts, help meet budget goals, and manage end-of-month reporting.
  2. Personnel Management: Ensure regular onsite attendance, hire, train, coach staff, and promote team harmony and compliance.
  3. Strategic Leasing Management: Ensure effective leasing techniques, implement marketing strategies, handle resident concerns, and develop retention programs.
  4. Administrative Management: Maintain excellent customer service, oversee property appearance, supervise business functions, and manage resources efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in housing industry.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to perform tasks such as standing, moving, operating machinery, and working in various environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.

Asset Living offers a comprehensive total rewards package including benefits, 401K, bonuses, paid sick days, and holidays. Salary range: $25-$30/hour.
