Position Overview

As an Assistant Community Manager, you will be a vital part of our sales and management team, maintaining high standards of customer service and resident retention. You will work alongside the Community Manager to meet revenue and profit targets, support leasing and marketing efforts, and manage resident relations.

Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage property accounting including rent collection, financial reporting, invoice processing, bank deposits, and reconciliation using property management software like Yardi.
2. Customer Service & Sales: Lease apartments, respond to resident inquiries and complaints, and ensure high resident satisfaction and retention.
3. Teamwork: Lead and mentor leasing staff, collaborate with the Community Manager on property operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, or property management experience.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong math, accounting, and understanding of financial statements.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate: $22.00 - $25.00. Benefits include paid time off, holidays, sick days, 401(k) matching, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, and life insurance.
