Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance, or public administration with 2 years of senior-level experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of governmental or financial operations and property tax administration.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the City’s real property exemption programs.
  • Establish strategic priorities, goals, and performance standards for service delivery.
  • Lead and develop staff responsible for exemption processing and customer service.
  • Provide guidance on complex exemption matters including statutory interpretation.
  • Ensure consistent policies across exemption activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership, legal counsel, and external agencies on initiatives.
  • Develop process and technology enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and briefings for senior leadership.
