Job summary

Downingtown Area School District is seeking an Assistant Coach for Track at Downingtown Middle School. The role involves supporting the head coach, maintaining equipment and facilities, and performing administrative duties to ensure smooth team operations.

You will schedule and supervise practice sessions, manage training equipment, and organize team events while fostering a positive, inclusive team environment for student-athletes during the Spring 2026-2027 season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Track experience required.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record checks.
• Must adhere to local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment.

Responsibilities
