Youth Athletes United is seeking Lead Instructors for TGA programs across New Jersey. Earn up to $27 per hour with a flexible schedule, on-the-go coaching, and on-site classes for 5-13 year olds in Tennis, Golf, and Pickleball.

New coaches can work 4–20 hours per week with on-the-job training and incentive programs. Travel to various locations within Somerset and Hunterdon Counties is common.

Qualifikationen

• Must be receptive to feedback, with a goal of becoming better.
• Lead Instructor must have prior coaching experience (related to Tennis, Golf, Pickleball a plus)

The Company:

Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Children need to have FUN while learning the FUNdamentals of sport. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.

The Position:

We are seeking coaches for our TGA programs. TGA has been in the youth sports business for over 22 years and have been recognized as the largest operating program in the US. New Coaches can work *4-20 hours a week, earn up to $27 per hour.

• Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success
• Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach so ensure classes are fun and we create a stress-free environment
• Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success
• Our Coaches can lead a class of 7-10 students, ages 5-13. Assistant Coaches will be assigned to classes larger than 10. Lead Coaches are expected to leverage the curriculum and facilitate class, while leading the Assistant Coach
• And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending any additional trainings and follow the TGA Coaching Manual

The SCHEDULE:

The majority of classes are held during the after school hours and on weekends. During the week, they typically start between 2:30pm and 3:30pm. Weekend classes vary. The ideal candidate would have the availability on some of the days and times listed below:

• Monday-Friday (Times): 2:00-5:00
• Weekends: (Times) 9:00-1:00

The LOCATION:

Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers. Coaches are expected to travel up to an hour to get to a class location. Our territory is throughout Somerset and Hunterdon Counties.

Requirements

• Lead Instructor must have prior coaching experience (related to Tennis, Golf, Pickleball a plus)
• Lead Instructor must be able to coach/manage 1-5 Assistant Coaches (providing feedback, ensuring curriculum is being delivered properly, etc)
• Lead Instructor must be able to coach/manage a group of students ranging from 8-40+ students. Depending on how many students are in the class, you'll be assigned an Assistant Coach (or multiple) to help facilitate the class
