Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Field Hockey Coach to support the development of our student-athletes and promote a positive, competitive team culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the game, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively teach skills, strategies, and sportsmanship.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the head coach, athletic department, players, and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach with planning and conducting practices and competitions.
• Be available for the full practice and game schedule throughout the season.
• Travel with the team to and from all away contests and events as required.
• Promote the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes.
• Organize and support team fundraising efforts and special events.
• Assist with equipment management and other duties necessary for the successful operation of the program.
• Uphold school, district, and athletic department policies and expectations.
