Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks an Assistant Coach for Diving to support the Columbus Campus diving programs. This part-time role focuses on teaching athletes diving fundamentals, coaching techniques, and preparing teams for competitions.

You will assist in recruiting, coordinating practices and travel, and ensuring compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, with a Master’s preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience coaching the sport of swimming required; ability to communicate and work with a diverse population required; knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations desired.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of diving, coaches technique and strategy for both the Men's and Women's Swim teams.
• Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations.
• Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment.
