Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. seeks coaches for the August 17, 2026–March 15, 2027 season. Candidates must hold a New Jersey Teacher's Certificate or Substitute Teacher Certificate with proof of experience for the substitute option.

CPR/AED certification and annual renewal are required, plus concussion and heat acclimatization certifications. Coaching experience is preferred and a mandatory spring-season availability is required.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience preferred; not required
• Certification in CPR and AED is required
• Concussion Awareness and Wellness certificate or equivalent, renewed annually
• Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness certificate or equivalent, renewed annually
• One year to complete a Sports First Aid course after hire
• Meet alternatives approved by Superintendent; budget dependent

Job description

Season Dates:

August 17, 2026- March 15, 2027

Qualifications:

• New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate; proof of experience required for substitute certificate holder


• Coaching experience preferred, but not required


• Must be available daily during the spring sports season


• Must be certified in CPR and AED, and holding a current certificate in both


• Must obtain a \"Concussion Awareness and Wellness\" certificate or its equivalent, renewed annually


• Must Obtain a \"Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness\" certificate or it's equivalent, renewed annually.


• All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in \"Sports First Aid\".

• Meet such alternatives to above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable


• Pending budget availability
