Job summary

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care, affiliated with BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a LABA-licensed or Masters-student supervisor-in-training to support clinical and administrative tasks. The role involves developing interventions, training families, and providing therapy to children aged 2–18 with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities include intake support, progress data review, and IOA coaching, with supervision from a Clinical Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in Master's program or have Master’s Degree in related field.
• 2-3 years experience working as a Behavior Therapist.
• 2-3 years experience working with children age 2-18 with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Assist with developing interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills.
• Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in the implementation of positive supports and behavioral interventions.
• Assist with developing goals in communication, functional living, social, self-help, and leisure skills in consultation with the clinical supervisor.
• Assist the clinical supervisor in the intake process, observations, and preparation of the consumer's initial behavior assessment.
• Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress reports and data and provide feedback to Behavior Therapists.
• Conduct IOA to ensure accuracy of client data and coach therapists to reduce discrepancies.
• Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.

LABA

Must have a LABA license or be enrolled in a Masters Program in ABA and looking for supervision hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Manager with clinical and administrative tasks.
• Assist with developing interventions focusing on positive practices to decrease interfering behavior and increase functional skills, including creating materials for use with various behavior programs, including in-home therapy and at schools.
• Provide ongoing training and consultation for families in the implementation of positive supports and behavioral interventions to reduce interfering behaviors, in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and their child's specific goals.
• Assist with developing goals in a range of areas including communication, functional living skills, social skills, self-help skills, and recreational and leisure skills in consultation with the clinical supervisor.
• Assist the clinical supervisor in the intake process, observations, and preparation of the consumer's initial behavior assessment.
• Shadow Behavior Therapists, review progress reports and data and provide periodic reviews of Behavioral Therapists' performance, including providing on-going verbal and written feedback to Behavior Therapists.
• Conduct Inter-Observer Agreements (IOA) to ensure accuracy of client data, coach Behavior Therapists to reduce data discrepancies.
• Provide therapy sessions for assigned clients.
