Responsibilities

• Plans and implements unit management strategies in collaboration with Director/Nurse Manager.
• Provides off-shift unit leadership for at least 75% of time worked.
• Coordinates staffing assignments and delegates work based on acuity and competency.
• Monitors patient charts and ensures documentation and orders are followed per policy and regulatory standards.
• Maintains communication with staff, physicians, and leadership to resolve issues and improve care quality.
