Job summary

JFSA Cleveland is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director to join the Care at Home leadership team. The role provides RN clinical and operational support across departments, guiding daily home health operations and advancing quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with home and community-based services.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s license and auto insurance.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations including OASIS.
• Knowledge of payment models including Medicare and managed care.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• HIPAA regulations familiarity.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and be flexible.

Role Description

The Assistant Clinical Director is a member of the Care at Home leadership team; providing intra- and inter-departmental RN clinical and operational support. The Assistant Clinical Director contributes to an effective, efficient, and cohesive team environment by assisting with daily skilled home health and non-medical home care operations, supporting strategic vision, and by providing clinical guidance to ensure high-quality services are delivered. This critical role shares the responsibility of personnel management through field team supervision, supports audit/quality assurance activities and is jointly accountable for the department’s financial performance/key indicators.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Training

• Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.

Experience

• Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with home and community-based services.

Licenses/Certifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s license and auto insurance
• Valid BLS certification or ability to obtain.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge and Understanding of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Understanding issues related to the delivery of home health services and be able to solve problems effectively.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations including OASIS.
• Knowledge of payments models include Medicare and managed care programs.
• Strong time management, organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, listening and assessment skills.
