The City of Berkeley invites applications for the position of Assistant Civil Engineer. This role involves working on capital improvement projects within the Parks, Recreation & Waterfront Department or the Public Works Department. The Parks, Recreation & Waterfront Department manages over 50 parks and the largest public marina on the Bay, working on projects at parks, community centers, and waterfront facilities. The Public Works Department supports extensive city infrastructure, working on projects aligned with initiatives like the Climate Action Plan and Vision Zero across various program areas such as Facilities, Sewers, Sidewalks, Streets, and Storm Drains.

Qualifications include:
