Job summary

PAM Health, LLC is seeking an Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) to lead nursing services and ensure patient safety across the hospital units. The ACNO will set staffing strategies, partner with administration, and drive performance to meet PAM Health standards.

The role requires RN licensure in good standing, 5+ years of clinical nursing, and 3+ years in nursing management, with current BLS and ACLS. Bachelor’s degree preferred; various education and tuition opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess RN licensure in good standing in the state where the hospital resides.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience is required and three (3) years of experience in nursing management is preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in a specified field preferred (CNE, CRRN, CCRN, PCCN).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the nursing unit(s)/hospitals.
• Direct all nursing service activities for the hospital assigned by making recommendations for staff/patient ratios, by maintaining a system to determine and provide adequate staff for provision of appropriate nursing care, by serving as a liaison between staff and administration, by promoting productivity of staff.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for nursing service in compliance with PAM Health system policies and procedures and accreditation standards.
