St Cuthbert's Care, through Holy Cross Nursing Home in Sunderland, is seeking anAssistant Chef to join a welcoming team. You will plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and support the Head Chef with budgeting and stock control.

The role involves monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and stepping in when the Chef is absent. This is a hands-on position in a care setting, offering the chance to contribute to high-quality resident meals and well-being.

Assistant Chef - (Holy Cross Sunderland)

Salary: £13:85 per hour

Location: Working in our residential and nursing home for older people in Sunderland.

Hours: 35 hours per week

The role

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Chef to join the friendly team at our welcoming nursing home in Sunderland. As an Assistant Chef, you will play a key role in planning and preparing nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents. You will also support the Head Chef with budgeting, monitor kitchen stock levels, order supplies and take full responsibility for the kitchen in the Chef's absence.
