Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the CFO by advising on data for annual budget formulation.
• Assist in assembling, preparing, and justifying the station's annual budget plan.
• Audit cost records in operating areas with budget responsibility.
• Oversee distribution of funds to operating services and suggest changes to financial plans.
• Develop new reports to illuminate the station's fiscal program.
• Ensure a comprehensive accounting system including assets, liabilities, expenses, income, and capital accounts.
• Review and approve submissions to VISN Office and VHA Central Office.
• Conduct internal audits and supervise management staff.
• Resolve staff complaints and perform other duties as assigned.
