European Wax Center Mira Mesa is seeking an Assistant Center Manager who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, loves coaching teams, and delivers exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with the Center Manager to drive daily operations, achieve sales goals, and elevate team performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, guest service excellence, and hands-on floor presence, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Full-time, in-person position in Mira Mesa, CA.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and drive center performance to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering guest loyalty.
• Inspire, coach, and develop associates through accountability, recognition, and performance management.
• Create a positive, energetic, and results-focused culture that encourages innovation and teamwork.
• Implement systems, processes, and best practices designed to support a high-performing center.
• Utilize business metrics and reporting tools to identify opportunities and drive performance improvements.
• Create and maintain visual tracking tools, reports, and presentations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Manage administrative responsibilities including scheduling, inventory control, payroll support, and reporting.
• Coordinate local marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special events to drive brand awareness and guest acquisition.
• Spend approximately 80% of your time leading the guest and employee experience on the center floor.

As Assistant Center Manager, you will partner with the Center Manager to oversee daily operations, achieve sales goals, maximize team performance, and uphold the exceptional service standards that make European Wax Center a leader in the industry.

• Passion for sales, guest service, and team development.
• Proven ability to coach, train, motivate, and inspire high-performing teams.
• Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle guest concerns, conflict resolution, coaching conversations, and team presentations professionally.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze business performance, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
• Positive, energetic, and professional attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Previous European Wax Center, Massage Envy, or Millennium Software experience is a plus.
