Job summary

Mathnasium of Whitehouse Station is hiring an Assistant Center Director to help build a new center from the ground up. You’ll run the floor on shifts, lead our instructors, meet with families, and help enroll new students.

This leadership role offers a clear path to Center Director as we grow. Responsibilities include overseeing sessions, mentoring staff, responding to inquiries, assessing students, and driving outreach to grow the center.

Qualifications

• Passion for math.
• Experience teaching or supervising others.
• Confidence talking with parents, including enrollment conversations.
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership when the Center Director isn't there.
• Comfortable with computers and learning new software.
• Some College preferred, especially in education, math, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Schedule:
Minimum: 3 weekdays (Mon-Thu, 2:00-7:30pm), plus Saturdays as needed (9:30am-1:30pm)
Full availability: Mon-Thu 2:00-7:30pm and Saturday 9:30am-1:30pm
Mathnasium of Whitehouse Station is a new center, and we're hiring an Assistant Center Director to help build it from the ground up. All applicants will take a math assessment, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. The math assessment is used to determine the level of math you could help out with if needed.
