Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring an Assistant Center Director to help lead our center, support enrollment and staff development, and uphold high-quality early education that families trust.

You''ll partner with the Center Director, engage with families, coordinate licensing requirements, and step into multiple roles as needed, all while delivering our world-class curriculum and ensuring a safe, welcoming learning environment for children.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience, with understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and use in classroom.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume postures for close supervision of children and ensure safety.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
