Reggio's Treehouse in Reston, VA is hiring an Assistant Center Director to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance at our Reston location. You will support families, uphold the educational philosophy, and promote a nurturing environment for children.

Qualifications follow Virginia DOE requirements, including degree options or 48 semester hours, plus 2 years of programmatic experience with supervision.

Qualifications

• Per Virginia Dept. of Education, degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of programmatic experience with supervision.
• Familiarity with NAEYC accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with daily center operations
• Manage staff schedules and classroom assignments
• Ensure compliance with childcare licensing regulations
• Maintain the school facility and grounds
• Champion and promote the program's educational philosophy
• Cover classrooms as needed to maintain proper ratios and compliance
• Represent Reggio's Treehouse at community events
• Support center financial duties and manage technical equipment
