Job summary

Mathnasium of Delaware is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Center Director to join our founding team and help shape the center culture from day one.

You'll work closely with the Center Director to handle educational and day-to-day operations, including student enrollment, schedules, and delivering Mathnasium methods training to staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in working with children and helping them succeed.
• Comfortable with K–12 math and willing to support students and instructors when needed.
• Customer service, leadership, education, or sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help identify students’ needs and support the development of customized learning plans.
• Assist with prospective-family inquiries, consultations, follow-up, and student enrollment.
• Build strong relationships with parents and provide exceptional customer service.
• Communicate student progress and celebrate student achievements.
• Support, coach, and coordinate instructors during learning sessions.
• Help manage student engagement, learning progress, and the overall flow of the center.
• Assist with scheduling, organization, and other day-to-day center operations.
• Step in to support students with math instruction when needed.
• Help create the welcoming, energetic culture we want Mathnasium of Delaware to be known for.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• MUST be at least 18 years of age
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable with K–12 math and willing to support students and instructors when needed
• Customer service, leadership, education, or sales experience is a plus
• Confidence communicating with parents and prospective families
• Dependability, organization, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn
• Availability during our after-school operating hours and potentially Sundays from 2:00–6:00 PM

Previous Mathnasium experience is a plus, but absolutely not required. We provide training and are looking just as much for the right attitude, communication skills, and potential as we are for previous experience.
