Job summary

Victory Brewing Company in Parkesburg, PA is seeking an Assistant Brewer to support daily production in the brewhouse, cellar, and packaging areas. You will maintain proficiency across production areas, assist with raw materials, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires 1-3 years beverage industry experience with supervisory exposure, strong computer skills (Excel/Word/Outlook), and willingness to work rotating shifts. Overtime may be required in a dynamic production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of beverage industry experience with a one-year supervisory experience.
• Availability to work on rotating First and Second Shifts.
• Candidate must have good computer skills and be proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to smoothly handle multiple demands and rapid change.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in thinking critically and problem solving.
• Willingness to fill in other job duties as necessary.
• Physical requirements include lifting at least 30 lbs. and moving 165 lbs. of kegged beer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily production functions in the brewhouse, cellar, and packaging required to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain proficiency in at least two of the following production areas: brewhouse, cellar, and/or packaging.
• Work week is based on a 40-hour schedule with possible overtime.
• Assist with loading of raw materials and process aids at various production stages.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area; set up hoses, fittings, and clamps for production and cleaning operations.
• Assist with production operations, CIP’s, and sanitation following SOPs.
• Perform basic maintenance on pumps, valves, tanks, and process equipment.
