Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes #9119 in Fairfax, VA seeks a Branch Assistant Manager to work with the Branch Manager to plan, implement strategies, and supervise staff. This role covers customer service, sales, marketing, merchandising, inventory, finances, and store safety.

You will help develop market plans, support sales growth, train employees, verify orders, and manage schedules while upholding safety and security policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in retail, sales, or customer service or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program

This includes supporting all aspects of branch operations, including customer service, sales, marketing, merchandising, inventory, finances, and store safety. This role will assist in supervising and training store staff. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Automotive Finishes #9119 located at 8400 Hilltop Rd, Fairfax, VA 22031. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm based on business needs and subject to change. Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
• Must have at least one (1) year of work experience in retail, sales, or customer service or have completed a Sherwin-Williams Development Program

Preferred Qualifications

• Have at least three (3) years of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience in a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Branch
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience in an automotive aftermarket industry
• Have at least one (1) year of experience in leadership role(s), supervising others, or leading teams
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and/or Outlook)
• Have work experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management ("CRM") systems
• Have an associate's degree or higher in Business, Sales, or Marketing
• Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities
